Jagrata...jagrata
The discussion has brought one to the brink
of leaving from this world… which is an irrefutable fact for all born entities…
for all born … death is inevitable..
यावत् कालँ भवेत् कर्म
तावत् तिष्ठन्ति जन्तवः।
तस्मिन् क्षीणे विन्श्यन्ति
तत्र का परिदेवना॥-7
The being referred to as an animal here by
the Acharya… completes his tasks for which he/she has come and
departs…immediately… this is seen around, so what is there to lament?
Though we may not know this aspect fully, one
has to take that all have come for some purpose and left after that role… take
even the case of Acharya himself, who had a very short life span… but
accomplished many things… which others may not be able to do in many
janmas/births..
So Acharya states that one should accept this
phenomenon stoically and not worry at all.. worth meditating
deeply..
- Greatest fear of one and all is Death… as we know that annihilate the existence… we have come to associate/ identify closely with this body and the world around so much, even the mere thought of leaving all that frighten us….
- Only a man of wisdom will be able to face that situation with courage, stoicism.. and equanimity... Vedas are precisely discussing this... repeatedly..
- Hence the importance of becoming… Abhayam in life… fearless… with that theme this blog had started…..
- When something is inevitable, one must face it with courage and equanimity… for this Knowledge is needed.. Jnana eva tu Kaivalyam…
- Adi Shankaracharya tried to impart that Jnana to us through all his works….
