Day 135

 Gods’ meeting in Spain

In Spain, few Indians who organised Ganesh festival asked the  local Church authority whether they can take  Ganeshji from the way which is in front of church because that usually is the prayer time of church. In reply church authority asked them to bring Ganpati Bappa for few minutes inside the church so that both God can meet with each other. Few glimpses of their meeting were seen in a video circulated. This is universal love not present day orthodox philosophy followed by many “religious” persons.”

The above message backed by a video of less than 2 minutes was received by WhatsApp yesterday evening.

  • The message itself gladdened the heart and video was marvellous.
  • The image of Lord Ganesh was carried in procession inside a beautiful church full of  church goers.
  • The Murti was taken right inside, when the church Choir sang a song in praise of the Lord.
  • After much clapping the Lord was taken out of the church . The proceedings were indeed highly graceful.

My mind went back to the prevailing situation in the country and many neighbouring countries, where the single point agenda--- should one writes about it…..

That is culture, that is education, that is enlightenment which was seen in Spain.

  • Hence I had repeatedly pleaded in these blogs that the UN should arrange a conclave on religious harmony…. If we need to have sanity in this beautiful world.

Much could be  learnt from the Spain experience…. But will they… a  huge question hangs…

Be happy. Be safe.

  1. More of such acts of Religious harmony and tolerance by Religious groups by finding unity in diversity will bring about change in the world in true secular spirit. None of us must divide Gods as we understand. In the process we are only dividing the followers. Brahmam Okate (God is one), Parabrahmam Okate, so sang the famous Anamacharya in one of his kirtans. The Hindus respect all religious orders. That is the reason so many religions are practiced and thrive in India.
