Kashi Viswanath Corridor-3

The PM has been visiting many places of worship since assuming office as PM and the TV coverage helped the layman to see such far of temples, the dieties and also witness the related pujas…. 

I consider that as a great blessing, as now it will be impossible to visit some of the temples, even if the mind is willing…say, Kedarnath for example… but due to Hon. PM's visit one could get  a detailed view of the temple and surroundings... sitting at home… ditto with Kashi also now..

His speech of nearly an hour was devoid of political references… he elaborated extensively  about the importance of Kashi, Siva, Annapurneswari and Kala Bhairav… in this process he also traced the historical events associated with the temple and its fate in the last 1000 years…finally he touched on the greatness of Varanasi people in particular and the country’s people in general in taking efforts to rebuild Sanatana Dharma over the years..

One of the touching scenes was…. He went and felicitated  some 220 plus  workers  associated with the  complex construction. They were assembled and seated at one place…  Hon. PM went near them and showered flower petals on all of them and also sat with them for a group photo… he sat along with them and asked them to come near/closer to him and sit… what a gesture from the PM of the nation even to ordinary workers..

Another video showed the Hon. PM taking lunch along with the said work force.. there after he was seen interacting with them in a very animated manner... all truly wonderful to watch.. a PM who mixes with the most powerful persons on earth and the lowest strata of society with equal ease and poise.... one can learn many things from those interactions..

This is true identification with the Aam janata of the country, which he always advocated… waking the talk… was seen  and it was indeed touching… I am sure all those workers will never forget the incident in their life time..

Finally he asked for 3 things from the Kashi people as also of the nation.

•     Srejan- Innovation, Start Ups
•    Atma Nirbhar Bharat

 He added that even during the Corona days many Indians have come forward with successful Start Ups and therefore exhorted the population to come out with new ideas… side by side , he asked the people to be vocal for local such that native efforts will be rewarded… these are the things the citizens should do with enthusiasm…. If we want  to be a developed India …. We as a nation have  to respond to such calls..

He ended by stating that we need to decide about the India that we want  /desire during the Century(100) year of Independence, now being the Platinum jubilee year(75) of independence….

Together we can achieve our goals, if we re-dedicate and take the right steps, he emphasised..

Wonderful message, vision and execution… there is  no lack of leadership today,…. What we  may need is more earnest followers…
