 Jathasya Hi Dhruvo Mrityu…. for all those born death is certain… is well known.

Death comes in different ways…. to any and everyone without prior notice or incline… rare are the people who will have a natural death in their own bed like in olden days… either it will be with the oxygen tubes on or some or other accidents…. incidents… one is now prepared for such news … yet some news startles.

 

Like a colleague shooting others to death while on duty, reported yesterday…

 

"Four CRPF personnel were killed and three others injured after their colleague opened fire at them in a camp of the paramilitary force in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district, Chattisgarth on Monday, a police official said. The incident took place at around 3.15 am in the camp of the Central Reserve Police Force's (CRPF) 50th battalion in Linganpalli village under Maraiguda police station of the area of the district, located nearly 400 km from the state capital Raipur, Inspector General of Police (Bastar range) Sundarraj P said.

As per preliminary information, constable Reetesh Ranjan fired at his colleagues with his service weapon, an AK-47 rifle, the official said." (internet).

 

A glance through the net threw open many such instances from the security forces. Here the people concerned have a deadly weapon on hand, like AK 47, which if used, death is certain…

 

What was meant to ward of enemies of the State, is being used against own colleagues in cold blood…. Can one even visualize… the action?

·       Prahalad was tried to be killed by his own father many times

·       Cousins plotted killings in Mahabharat

·       Military people shot dead the President in Egypt during a parade some decades back

·       Bhutto was hanged by his own people

·       Security staff killed a former PM in the country

·       Husband stage managed cobra bites to kill own wife

·       Father pushed down Son recently to the creek from a bridge…. list is endless

 

So, the reality is that death comes in many ways to big and small, king and citizen…

 

A life, which has come about, the reason for that is not clear yet, is wasted in variety of ways, including killing of self or others—mostly near and dear…

 

For believers, these are understandable… those who have read Kaliyuga prophesies in Bhagavat will not be surprised at all….

……but will that give solace to the grieving?
