I received a forwarded
message written by a very senior retired official lamenting the activities of
highly educated people from Indian and even foreign institutions of repute…
·
here he stated that such institutions failed to nurture good values
in them such that they turned out to highly evil and destructive to the country
at large… he had quoted a few well-known names too.
· but then it was not a surprise how the high and educated did
activities which are shameful to anyone. How many of them had issues with law,
how many are on bail… list is pretty long?
Here can we blame the
educational institution or any one for such misdeeds is the question? … take
the case of Ravan who had very good pedigree… and he was staunch bhakta of
Shiva and well-read person…
Yet what all he did…. Whom
can one blame for that…?
There are no specific
answers, except the Karma of all involved… Ravan brought down his race
completely due to his arrogance and evil deeds. (Duryodhana also did similar
deeds…).
So, the innocent country men
had to pay a price for their mis- deeds… Ditto with the current situations…. so
leading companies are brought to winding up stage by the actions of some seniors.... we
have seen all in these years.
Then there are many who are
bent on bringing down the country itself… the scenario is bleak… what one can
do?…
Kashmir is a classic case for
India…what all happened there in the last 75 years… who all dabbled in that and
with what result…. how many soldiers and civilians lost their lives…? An Independence brought permanent enemies, who
are talking about 1000 years of war…. What a price for the freedom?
Education or parentage per se
cannot ensure good behavior or samskara in an individual…. Children of very
pious parents have committed heinous crimes… so one will have to believe in
POORVA JANMA VASANAs, as there is no other explanation now to the issue.
Of course, parents have a
role to mold their children but their role is limited…. Then we expect schools
and colleges... we know the result….
Like Yudhishthira and
Duryodhana, they had almost same family background, childhood comforts,
education, teacher and upbringing, more or less… what they turned out later in life is worth
studying ….
So, each person is born with
certain latent qualities that blossom in life and the result may be good or
evil or indifferent. Hence, we had characters like Kamsa, Ravan, Bhasmasura,
Hitler, Idi Amin…. list can be extended….
Be happy. Be safe.
