Siamese twins

A video was seen recently where a Siamese twins drove a scooter to a petrol pump and filled in the petrol as normal persons and drove away. Everything looked great, except for the sight itself.

The twins were having body so contorted it is difficult to even describe. Further they are the kids of some parents hence it is not proper to make any descriptions also. But the sight was startling and bewildering ,more so they were together riding the scooter. Background conversation was in Hindi, so the sight may be from our own country.

Definitely it did not look like a fun ride  for video purpose, then it would have been taken in some open ground.

Two things stands out-

• The nature’s ways- how the life comes out in this world
• Indifference of the people who allow such  things  happen -as driving of scooters in public places.

I remember seeing a film from US where a teenage girl , born without both the hands, riding Car and even a small plane with her legs. That sight did not startle me as the one above).

·       I remember seeing a video some 10 years back where a Siamese twin girls were seen chatting merrily . they shared their hopes and dreams and how they are totally different from each other

·   They underwent a separating operation in Singapore much against medical opinion due to the risk involved. But they were major and they had a desire to live separately. However the operation failed.

Here also going by the body structure of the twins, it  may not be risk free to separate them.

Such videos disturbs the human psyche, though shared for information. 

Our society ought to become more matured and sensitive even in using social media platform.

But then it will be a cry in the wilderness.

·       I remember seeing a 3-4 year old driving a car , of course from the lap of the father. 

• What all  over ambitious people want their kids to do… at ages, when they don’t know what they are doing.

·       Take the case of  realty shows of date- dance ,music ,skits by kids below 5 years, even toddlers and the merriment the judges ,the  audience make and how such kids are tutored ( tortured?) to do impossible feats , dressed  etc. by parents. They are made to sing songs or deliver dialogues,  which are much beyond their age and understanding.

·        Is this entertainment…. Is this progress… is this modernity….is this evolvement-------one wonders.
