Man’s search for meaning-18
Yesterday, I visited a mall nearby, first
time since the lock down of 2020.
· The entry staff was
quite strict and were checking the double vaccination certificate diligently before
allowing entry…. Very good and following the protocol stipulations.
· But what was the
scenario inside?… many were walking around without even a mask… at times the
full family….
·
Why were they doing
that… I have no answer…
· Assuming that either
they are not bothered or capable of handling about the risk involved, what
about the risk they pose for other mall goers?
This is where our laws
are mocked by the people, more so by educated people…
ü
they care only if
there is an in-built punishment for violation or else…they just don’t care…
ü
like how they jump the signals with impunity
if no police man is around…. ditto everywhere…
ü
if none is watching waste is thrown even on
the pavement…
ü
self- discipline we
could not build in the generation ---yesterday or today… then what will the
case of tomorrow?…
Let the government say that masks are
not needed inside the mall etc.… then the citizens can do that…
ü
so long as the government
announces the need for masks, social distancing etc.…
ü
how come people are allowed to move inside malls
without masks?
ü
beats my understanding…
may be too complicated for an oldie in a modern generation….
There is always an option not to go to such places in future….
May be the message is, if you don’t like sit at home….Ham to aisa he hai… aisa he rahenge….. seems the refrain…
Be happy. Be safe.
