Greatest service is to share with others the joys of living
Are there cases where one realised the truth without a Guru? Interesting to probe.
Two prominent names come up.
One is Ramana Maharishi of Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. At a young age of 13 years or so, he left his house in search of Truth and realized the same with self-Sadhana /effort. No formal Guru is referred by him.
The second example is Hastamalakan, whom Adi Shankara met when the boy was around 10 years. He also showed great wisdom, as stated in Hastamalakiyam. ( This was attributed to his earlier birth by the Great Acharya himself).
How these persons could have realized the truth without Guru’s intervention?
This is due to Purva Karma Phala.
Hinduism firmly believes in Punrjanma---as the life is an evolving process---- such happenings are not at all surprising.
There are examples of kids singing full Bhagavad Gita at the age of 4 or 5 years of age.
(Suborno 'Issac' Bari, a 7 year old boy in USA, was recognised as the youngest Professor in the world due to his extra- ordinary knowledge of science and maths).
If not due to the merits of previous birth, how it is possible?
Worth a study. Isn’t it?
Be happy. Be safe.

ReplyDeleteMata Amritanandamayi Devi has also realized the truth without a Guru, who is a living Guru in the present day.
It is believed that She is the manifestation of True Spirit.
Dive deep within to experience Her.
