This section’s aim was to reflect on the larger aspects of life. All want to achieve serenity and tranquillity , at the end of the day or the evening of life.
For this one must strive . It is like saving for the old age, one should start early. Similarly, one must acquire good memories, especially when one reaches the old age.
Constantly remembering
that "This Too Shall Pass Away" will help much to remain focused.
The following classic- mere reading of it -
will help to rejoice with memories.
I Wandered Lonely as a
Cloud by William Wordsworth
I wandered lonely as a
cloud
That floats on high o'er
vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a
crowd,
A host, of golden
daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the
trees,
Fluttering and dancing in
the breeze.
Continuous as the stars
that shine
And twinkle on the milky
way,
They stretched in
never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a
glance,
Tossing their heads in
sprightly dance.
The waves beside them
danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves
in glee:
A poet could not but be
gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but
little thought
What wealth the show to me
had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I
lie
In vacant or in pensive
mood,
They flash upon that inward
eye
Which is the bliss of
solitude;
And then my heart with
pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.( Internet)
Reading of good poems, will help
to focus on the spiritual path more easily. More so, when such poems are easily accessible on the net.
An eye and love for poetry can be cultivated at any age.
The rewards will be immense.
Be happy . Be safe.

Sir,
ReplyDeleteIt is very much true that__This Too Pass Away__will help to remain focussed.Everything in life pass away like a picture on the screen n become past memory only.In AMMAs world, past is like a cancelled cheque which has no value n hence live in present.
Nice blog to read.
Thanks

Yeah ... we sometimes get so lost in our routines that we forget to live our lives π
ReplyDeleteFor oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
....
And this is so apt ... we study poems in school little knowing there's so much meaning in each word ...
Enjoying the blog Sir .... its just super workππ»ππ»ππ»
